Looking at the odds on pinny; want to bet the over on an nhl game.

One of the listed bets in the drop-down confuses me; "over 5 and 5.5"

How is this different from just "over 5" or just "over 5.5"?

If the total ends up being 5 and you chose Over 5, it's a push. Over 5.5 is a loss.

I understand that. But why is one bet listed with both those stipulations?

Why wouldn't someone just bet over 5 or over 5.5 separately? Don't get why their in the same bet, what changes?

If you can't figure that out by yourself you should be playing roulette or even better the 1.4
        % house edge craps games.

figured I'd get that from at least one person here; take a bet for another ripping from second? third?

Jus kidding, you probably will need to click on the right arrow to pick one or the other, whethe 5 or 5.5. Have you try that? You are right, as far as I know, you can pick 5 or 5.5 nor both, but the line will change. Of all the bets this is the probably the one I like the most. Some times I predict 8 points and still I get 5.5 over and under with a -120. And each score in NHL is equivalent to $120.

              probettor1 is an idiot.

If it lists both, that means half of your wager is on the 5, and half is on the 5.5...

But really for people who doesnt know how to handicap, -110 can be more rough that a 1.4% house edge in craps. But chosing the over under in NHL to bet probably make you smarter that most people here.

I do believe that if u work really hard with NHL over and under you might get a good edge. My bookies won't even get my NHL over under. Main reason I stopped gambling.

Being an idiot is not a big deal, the most idiotic man in the world: Albert Einstein. He was the main mind behind the atomic bomb. How stupid is that?
