Murray State - 5. SOLID ASS PLAY.
I have followed the MWC and Colorado State for the last 4 years...each of the last 2 years hoping the Rams would get in the dance cause I love them as team and how they play basketball...but the fact of the matter is this is a HORRIBLE match up for them. the Racers are far to athletic. You have seen what happpens to Colo State when they match up against aggresive athletic defensives AWAY from their home court, they get DESTROYED. lost by 30 to New Mexico and DD to SDSU and UNLV. all of their big wins have come at home. on the road they are simply just not the same team and if they arent hitting their 3s they are going to get blown out. I was excited to see when the Rams got the bid but than got just as deflated when I saw who they were matched up with. totally out classed here.

I got this at -1.5 as I bet on it early
but I read from a very respected person how COL state has a good chance here. Thinking about hedging as there is great value in it on the ML +190
With all the point movement this week, If Murray covers I win $$ but win less (win around 50% of my original bet). And if I hedge with that nice ML number I lose nothing.
Of course if Murray wins by 1 point I would be screwed but its such a small middle that it wouldnt stop meComment -

Feel a little more relaxed knowing I placed 40% of my original bet on the ML +190 to mitigate any real loss but would still have a 60% overall gain if Murray coversComment -

dude like you honestly know who the final 4 teams are? how about vcu/butler last year? you really thought they were all that special? murray state won 30 games this year, have a solid D and a great PG, and i wanted to mix it up so i wouldnt have the same pick as everyone else (mich state)...you think marquette is gonna make the final 4? please...mich state maybe but why not take a shot at murray they have something to proveComment -

I dont think Spartans are the popular pick with gamblers. Most brackets from degenerates that I have seen have either Marquette or Mizzou. Public might be on MSU.
Murray St. will only go as far as their 3pt shooting. They go cold in the 2H here and they are done. Chucking too many threes and poor rebounding. Not impressed with their 1H. 21-8 CSU edge on the boards.Comment -
should be fine here 2nd half. I think Murray didn't expect to see CSU so quick to the ball. now they know what they can do. should be able to adjust and make some runs. Colo St shooting a very low percentage for their standards so I expect that to stay the same but the one thing I expect to change is now that Murray is adapting to the CSU defense...think they were just caught a little off guard how quick they were swarming to the ball...should be fine.Comment -
one thing that is shocking is the under sized Rams are out rebounding Murray 21-14 and have 6 offensive rebounds...fully expect the coaches to jump all over them about that.Comment -
