Depends. If he knows what happened, then yes. I wouldn't call the information a widely known thing, as in it isn't a rumor circulating the campus.

Doesn't really matter, does it? The kid is off Arizona, and on some Mid-major, where he isn't even close to the best player on the team. The kid runs with the best PG in the nation, and still has issues scoring.

He has next to none NBA potential, and he is stuck in a bad school in NYC. Nobody to blame but himself.
