Is it just me, or Bovada is having a lot of bonuses?
I haven't been playing for a while, on Saturday I sent $400 because I have a week off and wanted something to do besides reading, my Pro membership was about to expire, and they sent me a 25% bonus (max $100) offer.

Yesterday I got a 15% unlimited bonus on deposits e-mail, and today I got a free $100 bet where they refund the money as a bonus if the bet loses.

Have they been doing all these promos for a while? Is it because of March Madness? Or does it have anything to do with the name change? I don't remember them doing all this stuff last year when I last played there.

I been getting a lot of emails on bonuses from them. One of the last books I'd ever use.

Why is that? Is it because of the lines?

Lines, software, the target on them. Just don't like anything to do with Bovada, always seemed to gimmicky...like the cartoon of sportsbooks. Sites like 5dimes, Bookmkaer, Heritage and betislands just seem all-around far superior. There just isn't room for a shady book these days, there's enough other great choices.

There bonuses are max $100.00, so say I deposit $2,000.00, your going to give me $100.00 for first time deposit....

          Please...

They have good promotions but they never offered me much in terms of bonuses.

I believe I've made three deposits with them and received a bonus on only the first one, which one a mere 10%.

They are definitely targeted to the recreational (uninformed) gambler. But I don't know about calling them shady. I haven't heard them have a reputation of stiffing people.

The one they had on their site yesterday said 15% no max.

I remember this being the case last year when I last used them, that's why I'm surprised on all the bonuses offered to me in the 4 days I have been using them again. I don't think I got any of the 3 things I have been offered last time. That's why I have been wondering the reasons for that.

they're cold calling account holders with small balances and offering 25% reload bonuses tp get them back into the fold. late lines always been a deterrent with them. good for underdog players however. cater to small recreational bettor.

Agree with all of the above. I also like their props, some good value to be found on a couple of offerings almost daily.

I even asked them when I deposited earlier this year about bonuses and they said they don't offer any reload bonuses at all. The only bonus is the 10% signup bonus on first deposit. I guess they drastically changed their policies recently.

Maybe something to do with the new name and them trying to make sure account holders don't jump ship.

They do take a while on some bets, my last 2 bets are still pending and they have been over for over an hour or two.

Absolutely agree, since most people that play there pick favorites and overs they definitely get their money back. But it's still nice to get some of those perks. Specially if you don't give them back by playing bad lines there.

Maybe that's why I never saw them, I refuse to play at an online casino. Maybe I'm paranoid (or just smart), but I don't trust any of them.

Talking about casinos, I'm about to leave for Lake Charles to shoot some craps, wish me luck.

Why would you want to play with them when you can play at Heritage? Heritage is a much better option.

Because I find props that are off (according to me). And they threw us a party at the Luxor in 2010, and Becky is pretty cool. And I was just looking to reload an account to renew my pro status and they sent me the 25% bonus that day.

as I've said, I don't get the bonuses, but playing at Bovada is worth it anyway. I like Heritage too. They are my two favorite outs. I give both of them a lot of action.

Maybe they had a dip in business after rebranding and wanted to get their non-hardcore base back for the NCaa's?
