I have a friend who argues that Evan Turner and not John Wall has to be considered the best college basketball player in the 2009/2010 season. Seriously? What do you guys think?

Anyone is entitled their own opinion, so it can't really be settled. As far as awards, Turner won nearly every major player of the year award.

      Turner had the better season.

Wall was the better pro prospect.

Wall was hyped in the Kentucky machine, which is much larger.

                        turner better in college

and he will be a better nba player than wall by years end

finally inserted into starting lineup couple of games ago and has been lighting it up

                        wall overall is a disappointment

Turner. Turner was a much more fundamentally sound college player and at the end of the day it will also make him a better all around NBA player than Wall.

Not Wall thats for sure, couldnt then and cant shoot a jumper now, although that doesnt necessarily mean he couldnt have been the best, he just wasnt though, I can probably name more better than him during that year if given time.
