1st fight was amazing.....have a par pending with juanma as the kicker(even though i tend to root for the dog in these situations).....
salido is one of those guys with double digit losses that you just can`t judge by his record(just ask guerrero)........
question is,"can salido again out-tough juanma?".........hard to say......once again lopez has homecourt(although it didn`t help the first time).......
i expect lopez to be less willing to stand toe-to-toe this time around......i don`t think he wants to get into a firefight(but given how his style has devolved from a tactician to a power guy) not sure he can resist....

that rematch loss to peden was maybe the worst wagering loss i`ve taken in my gambling career.....i didn`t care that it was in australia...i was 100% sure that campbell was going to embarrass peden in the rematch....he just didn`t show up...was legitimately beaten.....
got some payback years later when tarver beat danny green.....but that was really small potatoes compared to what i lost on campbell... that was my "back that truck of kleenex over here,boys" gambling moment....

salido is one tough hombre...but he`s been showing a few signs of wear and tear of late....he was knocked down a few times in his last fight(vs a filipino named weng haya who i`m honestly not familiar with) and came back and stopped his opponent.......but i`m not encouraged that he had to struggle vs this level opponent...
salido`s had a weird career...he was stopped several times early on (2000 and earlier) i guess because he was a teenager... and as he got his manly strength he seemed to get tougher...hasn`t been stopped since and he`s been in with the best...

interesting tidbit.....salido since turning 21 is something like 25-4 with the losses coming via majority decision to ex chamo alejandro gonzales/ud to juan manuel marquez/via split to cristobal cruz(who he beat a year and a half later) and gamboa(in one of gamboa`s tougher fights)........
this is a very tough fight...i may hedge my juanma par with salido itd at +260.......
