If I had to pick a favorite from that decade, it would probably be Long Gone! which is my favorite baseball movie all-time. Stand by me would also be up on the list.

Lots of other great ones: Raiders of the Lost Ark, Stripes, Airplane!, Back to the Future, Good Morning Vietnam, Bull Durham, E.T., Raging Bull and one more I haven't seen mentioned here, The Blues Brothers.

Damn Willie I didn't know any one remembers or heard of Long Gone. It was one of my favorites. Way better than Major League and other baseball movies. At least thats what I thought back then. I wonder if I would still like it now.
