Denver defense is not that good. They played well for a stretch because of tebow and the ball control offense, so I'm not sure they'd be instant favorites unless they worked on that too.

But Peyton, Wayne, Thomas and that offensive line would be almost unstoppable. Could keep tebow for 3 years and let him study manning.

Denver's avg time of possession was 28:51 last year. Probably higher under Tebow, but not enough to "rest the defense" significantly. The kid gave up a lot of three-and-outs, especially in the Pats game. Give credit where its due, to Von Miller and BDawk.

Probably more his lack of turnovers (the first few weeks) as well. Of course, the under 50% is attributed to a terrible group of wide receivers that was 12 or 13th in drops.
The broncos just were not a very good overall team.
