Whatever you want them to mean, I make 1 unit 1% of my bankroll.

Only you know what your unit size is. If a poster says they're betting 2 units on a game, that's whatever x% of their bankroll represents. It's just cleaner for tracking purposes and also less invasive to share your unit w/l rather than actual dollar figure.

'Fading' is picking the opposite of someone intentionally. It can be used like, for instance, CrazyL says he's picking team A, someone then decides they'll pick team B just because I'm on team A. Or it can be used more playfully, as in someone says "ah, you're on team A? I like team B so guess I'll be fading you".
