He hit 39 Home Runs and had 40 stolen bases last season. He already declared that he's shooting for 50-50. I think that he has a good shot at it. He's also gotten into heavy weight training, not roids and he's already proven that he's a lot better player without Rhiana

I'm shooting at Kemp as my first guy for my Fantasy League draft. If healthy and with Ethier batting behind him, he should be seeing good pitches. Ethier can hit off lefties too.

As a guy who watches the dodgers every game I can tell you ethier doesnt do very well vs leftys.... Dodgers are thinking about platooning him vs leftys.

It all comes down to if he wants to or not. He's not completely mature just yet, and immature players are inconsistent. Nobody out there has more ability right now in MLB.

Do injuries cancel the bet? I think 30+ is a snap, especially with a slightly better team around him and a healthy Ethier.

He can declare anything he wants to....I cant see him getting more than 30 home runs this season. Still a very good season but nothing that will equal up to the hype. For one, Kemp is not an intimidating presence on the mound like a Prince Fielder or Pujols. He came out of nowhere and caught everyone off guard last year. One thing for sure is pitchers will adjust accordingly and cue in on his weaknesses this year. I see him getting more stolen bases than homers ....most likely a 35 steals 28 homer type season.
