BEST STRATEGY for making picks in 256 MAN BRACKET CONTEST???
Haven't really taken a look at this yet. Just know that my opponent will trip over his own feet, fumble down the stairs, roll into the bathroom, and then, with the momentum, accidentally dunk his own skull into the toilet bowl.

So I get a free ride on to the 2nd round.

BUT!!! ... What is the best strategy? These are weighted picks.... there are 15...

    Opinions welcome.

If your opponent really is that bad (who is it by the way?) let him make his first 6-7 bets and see where he is at...if he is down bigtime already then make all of your picks for 1 unit only just to meet the required 15 bets...if he is up then you will have to go with the 3 unit bets and hope for the best...thats how I would see it...my first round opponent is a different beast so I will have to come up with something different :-(

good pts, call. no offense to my opponent. I was just joking around. he got a little unlucky and is behind pretty good... so I can cruise

looking ahead for the 2nd round, tho, I'm still not sure what is the best method w/ the plays based between 1 and 3 units

I'm guessing that a winning score to advance per round will usually be from +10 to +15.

If opponent goes on a tear, you could be cooked. But in most cases that won't happen.

No strategy at all. If you can't pick winner than you are fuked.

I really think on average anything more than 5-6 units in the + should help you...I would not be suprised to see someone making the sweet 16 with lost units in every round so far...you just have to be lucky to lose less than your opponent I guess :-)

I just go with my picks. If I'm confident in what I'm doing, and we both have to have 15 picks, why do I really need to sweat on what he is doing? Its not like there is a magic formula for me to win if he's up or down 10 units. i still have to get my picks correct to win.
