Too damn hard! Even if you cap the game and one team is better at every position then the other and is only -6.0, the other team STILL finds a way to keep it close. I won't shy away if there is a line I can't resist, but the SEC is one tough beast. I'll stick with the Sun Belt, my go-to conference

Agreed, I'm new to this but I really dont have much interest in conferences outside the SEC. Maybe its time I start paying more attention to the others.

What you think about Arizona St/ UGA? I hestitant to bet this one b/c I have no idea about Arizona St.

DEFINITELY start studying outside the SEC. Not only are the lines razor sharp, but there is so much pride and such a gritty style to their games that anything can happen. Very tough to pick winners if you are staying in the SEC. As a fan, its a great conference to be interested in; as a bettor you definitely want to broaden your horizons.

I actually loved ASU in this game, not a knock on Georgia, just thought they could step up and get the upset at home. After last week's loss to UNLV though, I have no idea how they will respond. Are they dejected? Are they pumped out of their minds for revenge? That is why I stayed far away.

Interestingly enough though, coming into the year, the O-Line was a concern for ASU and it looked shaky against UNLV. Unless the O-Line steps up big, the Georgia D-Line may just eat them alive and make the game irrelevant in a hurry.

Don't have too strong of a lean... I guess I like WV, although the game against East Carolina was certainly not encouraging.

The OVER might be the play here. Colorado gave up 17 to Colorado State and 24 to East Washington, while WV gave up 21 to Villanova and 24 to East Carolina. This should be the best offense each team has faced, and there isn't to much reason to believe they'll be able to do much defensively.

But thats just my lean at a glance... I'm staying away simply because I need to see more games out of these two teams. This will be a good barometer.

HB, why do you like Arkansas here?

They are a rebuilding team and they haven't been able to establish a running game; not that Petrino really wants to. They don't have a QB good enough to run a passing offense effectively and I think they will be a pretty beatable team all year. If it weren't for the fact that SEC games never make sense, I'd like Bama here big time.

I disagree here... Arkansas has had two home games VS. Western Illinois (Barely win, 28 - 24) and UL Monroe (Barely win, 28 - 27)... Bama's defense will be significantly better then these two teams, and if W Ill and ULM can hang 24 and 27, really no reason to believe Arkansas' D will hold Bama to less then 30.

But good luck to you guys if you play it, I'd rather you win money then me say "I told you so"
