Huge win for the Wolves. Love finished with 42-10. Aldrige owned all night in his own building.

I never saw this guy coming. He's come into this season much better physically...looks like a different player running the court.

Also look out for the T-wolves in the next 2 years Rubio and love will be together for the next 3 seasons for sure, they need to find a SG and they will be contenders in the West

Shocked these players actually give a shit and work out in the offsean to actually get in better shape and improve themselves. It is only their job and getting paid millions to do so. Seems weird.

and after that he's outta minny...love just biding his time till one of the LA teams has the cap room to give him a max deal..he took the money now from minnesota, but if lakers play their cards right 3 more seasons should end the kobe era for them and they'll be able to wrap love up.

Actually Love could of left Minny after this season just signed a 5 year extension and they can now franchise Rubio in 2 years.
Kevin Love's extension with the Timberwolves is a victory for Minnesota and basketball fans everywhere. It is a refreshing change of pace from the conglomerating trend of big name players in big markets...

I was glad when I woke up the day after the draft and realized they traded OJ Mayo for Kevin Love. I thought he'd be a good player, but couldn't imagine him becoming the superstar he has become. His shooting percentage is pretty terrible for a #4 but he is a great rebounder and since he added the 3 to his game last year he can score from anywhere on the court.

Yes if they had a competent shooting guard I think they'd be able to get into the playoffs. There's hope that they'll trade for someone but I doubt anything will happen. Love and Pekovic down low is one of the better big guy combos in the league. They just don't have anyone that can score from the 2. I mean Luke Ridnour is the starting #2 that pretty much says it all. I was hoping they'd get JR Smith but that didn't work out.

I agree....
That's why I said after the next 3 seasons...he has an opt out clause which means this contract prObably won't go to 4 year completion. Love took the money now because it was available and likey wouldn't have been able to get a big deal in LA yet. Once Kobe is gone in a few years i bet he moves back to Cali. He's not afraid of saying he wants to be there someday

Kevin Love was a break out stud last year. The guy had unreal fantasy and in-game numbers. I remember he put up a 30-30 (points and rebounds) game last year too. In my 20 years of watching basketball I had never seen that in my life. And this is watching the full careers of Shaq, most of Karl Malone, most of Barkely's, Olajuwon's, David Robinson.....etc.
Plus the guy can hit three's from the top of the key like they are nothing and can pass like a solid PG. T-Wolves are honestly a sold SG away from being a 50 win team next year and a playoff threat too. Trade Beasley and keep Derrick Williams should be the way to go.

That's because the the last player to post a 30/30 game was Moses Malone in the early 80s
He looks great. Makes me want to put down these chips.... and how tall are those two girls 6'5??

I was first in line last season to slag Love off for playing no D and purely being a stats player but fuk me his game has gone to another level this season.

Kevin Love >>> Blake Griffin and it isn't particularly close. 39 and 17 after 42 and 10 just the other night.

uhhh no. he signed a 4 year deal...with a player option...so its actually a three year deal.
He wanted a FIVE year deal...Minny wanted to save their 5 year deal for Rubio...of course K Love is leaving...they are essentially choosing a rookie PG who can't shoot over a legit top 10 player in this league..go figure.

He had 15 points (three 3s including one at the end of the q) in a 37 point first quarter for the Wolves tonight. His 35/10 back to back games with five 3's in each game was the first time it had been done in NBA history. He's looking to make it 3 in a row

I love Williams potential, but this is a preposterous statement.
Williams would have to become one of the best 5 players in the league for that to happen.
