Weak...old format was just fine...the only change they should have done is made the first round best out of 7.

They should do like they did for 70 years two divisions and the top two teams play in the world series. If you finish second too fukking bad, you're the best of the losers! Congratulations!

Why not just contract 15 teams? They have no shot without 2nd wildcard.
