Lamor Odom to the D-League

Lamar Odom has been sent to the NBA Development League for at least one game.The Mavericks said Friday that Odom had been assigned to the Texas Legends. He will be in uniform for the D-League team’s home game in Frisco on Saturday night.
Dallas is playing nine games in 12 games, including at New Orleans on Friday night and at home Saturday against Utah.
Odom is averaging 7.7 points and 4.5 rebounds in 32 games his first season with Dallas.
The New York Post recently reported that Odom wanted out of Dallas.
“Don’t be surprised if the Mavs oblige. He’s just not happy in Dallas,” a Texas source told the paper. “Maybe his wife is making him.”
Odom, 32, is owed $8.9 million this year (pro-rated for a 66-game schedule). A buyout for next season would cost the Mavericks $2 million.

It's a fukking joke here in Dallas, supposedly Cuban missed Wednesday nights game in Memphis, and met with LAMO's agent. Think it is was a "come to Jesus" type meeting, either he plays or he's going on the in-active list.I heard Cuban's pissed enough, he would trade him to Charlotte, just to send his ass packing. Cuban would dump his ass for the 2 mil that it would cost him. So, LAMO is going to play tomorrow in the burbs of Dallas, up there where TO's hanging out.

Lamar Odom will not play a game in the D-League, instead being called up for the Saturday's game vs. the Jazz.
Odom will be worked slowly into the mix, but the Mavs have lost five out of six games and can't wait much longer for him to get his head straight. Patience is wearing thin in Dallas, according to coach Rick Carlisle, and it will be interesting to see how Odom reacts to the pressure.
