i seen this many times in big 10 games, @IL home senior day(almost positive). MI is ranked but they are not a top team, IL is not that bad of a team

Sadly Illinois actually had a pretty good shot at the tournament if they won this game. Illinois was 20-13 last year and had a 9 seed. So safely in. A win tonight puts them at 18-12 and the field is weaker this year. In fact, Illinois resume with a win tonight is better than northwestern and lunardi mistakenly has northwestern in and not Illinois. I believe this would be Illinois 4th top 25 win.

Illinois was 50 percent or so to go to the tournament with a win tonight. But weber couldn't coach his way out of a paper bag so he is losing at home badly to a team less talented than his roster, yet again.

7 top 100 prospects on the roster and the NIT. Thanks for nothing weber.

Even if they come back tonight, I just don't see it. If they were to beat Wisconsin on Sunday too, then I like their chances, but I really don't see them winning that game.

A win tonight plus a win a Wisconsin makes them a lock. 6 top 25 wins actually if they did that. No way a team with 6 top 25 wins misses the tournament. They could also lose to Wisconsin and then win 2 in the BTT and get in.

The sad thing is that Michigan has zero players capable of guarding Meyers Leonard. Leonard looks like an nba player being guarded by Michigan high schoolers when he gets it down low and weber can't design some ways to get him the ball in the post??? This game shouldn't be close with this mismatch.
