I think this needs a little work but it is an improvement. Too much white and I agree with you guys on that.

some feedback:

been cruising the new look for a half hour before i realized i wasn't signed in. i couldn't find the log-in area on the screen for like another 5 mins

i took some ibuprofen after a few mins staring at the screen. way too white.

not a fan of new tabs opening when entering a sub forum. creates clutter

I always liked SBR because it looked different then most forums. now it just looks like every other forum out there.

again, just a whole lot whiter and brighter.

gl with whatever other changes are being implemented

This is a step backwards. It is larger and harder to read, the other pages were sharp and easy to navigate and digest information. This one is a blur.

We're making an update that will make scrolling seem how it was. There is some extra area that can be removed above the badges. This will give it the compacter feel that's been requested.

Regarding the "white out" comments --- there's going to be contrast added once the sidebar ads appear. And once the above adjustment is made, you'll find that it will feel smaller.

We appreciate all of the feedback and take it all into consideration.

It's not the contrast that matters. I turned the brightness all the way down on my screen and the white is still too blinding. Light blue might be a better background.

I'm sure SBR brass will get the kinks worked out in time................................just hope it's before I have a seizure.

This change is an inexplicable act of self destruction. Makes zero sense. Nothing wrong with old format...all white, everything is centered, takes up way too much space, literally can't name 1 thing better about this comparatively.
