Most posters would have MUCH better success collecting large sums of points if they just collected their daily 12 and never visited the casino/book

    /CaptainObvious

But seriously, you can easily have 1K points in 3 months that way.

Anyway, I was here way before points so I voted yes

How does not being able to go pro with a book account change the worth or the points program?

If that's the new rule changes you speak of?

I havent taken the time to read the new rules... but from what I hear, if you can no longer deposit once a year with a book, how can you renew your pro status every year?

Nah... they are just going to find new options for Americans. At least a dozen they say. And if your pro renewal comes up between now and the end of 2012, you get an extra 12 months without having to renew. (so SBR has plenty of time to set up other options and/or wait and see what happens with US law in the mean time)

                Business As Usual :-)

and my answer is YES as long as they let me spend my points built up first.. i.e. gave us 30 days to spend our pts before ridding the program

a sad state of affairs towards the (current) 37% ...

was here well before the points scheme was even a twinkle in John and Lou's eyes, the posting quality was far superior in the sense that there were more serious discussions which didnt instantly turn into flame threads for unrelated reasons by third parties

Of course I would stay, but if they could ban the multi-accounting ass clown quoted above that would be nice.

Well, depending on what the new options are going to be (donation, fantasy sports) it will depend on whether you "buy" your way into being pro (charity) or you can still deposit (fantasy etc) so your money wont be "lost"...dont get me wrong here, I think donating to a charity is a great way to go pro, from a monetary perspective it just wont be as lucrative then...

I'm here to put in stupid Parlays with those points every day, trying to make it big time.

One of these days I'll make it to 400,000, too bad I've never been about 4k.
I'm here for stupid parlays too! I almost hit a huge 10 team parlay last year for MLB, but landed short with the Pirates losing during their losing streak. The gambling Gods hate me.
