    Why would this happen?
I was trying to set up an account, and in order to verify me they asked for my last 4 digits of SSN.

I gave it to them, but it says its invalid..

    why would this happen?

I don't get it, then they asked for all nine numbers. I gave it to them, and still said invalid.

did you have to take a verification quiz? Also it will do that if your address you gave them dont match up with your address on your credit report. they only need last 4 to pull your credit and match your info

are you dealing with a person telling you it's invalid?

or a computer. sounds like a computer error. i'd call the book.

Someones already used the number, your identity likely stolen by a gambler betting with offshore bookies.
