hes got skills but that height will hurt him. Maybe though, there have been short QB's in the pros but it is a handicap.

Hard to tell. A very similar comp has already been made in Drew Brees.

He's a hell of a lot better than the POS we have in MN Tavarius Jackson!

MN should either start Booty or trade for Garcia.

I would be happy if the Vikings started Gus Frerotte. However, Childress is stubburn because he handpicked TJack drafting him in the 2nd round when he wasn't going to be drafted until at least the 5th round. Lots of pissed off Viking fans as Jackson just doesn't have it to be a NFL qb. Many feel like we have a good team, but just need an average qb and we would be a playoff team.

Childress days are numbered in Minny, one of worst coaches in league and needs to make a QB change immediately.

OMG.... don't ever utter his name again.
I still have nightmares of his 5 INT game for the Rams last season.

Unfortunately, that's who the Vikings have as a backup. I believe Childress brings in washed up qbs as a backup to justify staying with Jackson. Trading for Garcia makes too much sense, Vikings need a real qb soon. JJ is right, Childress is out the door after this season if the Vikings don't make the playoffs. Owner is going for a new stadium and needs to show the state and fans he is committed to winning.

probably not, no love for QB's who play in systems like Missouri. Pro style QB's like Matt Ryan get the NFL hard now

man o man o man... you know who vikings needs
they need to trade for
REX GROSSMAN....
now this sounds stupid, but minnesota as a excellent run game...Childress is good QB coach, not his fault Jackson sucks and he can't make any other moves... Rex has a excellent Deep ball... a new team might just rejuvinate him....he's cheap affordable and you don't loose anything going for him.
