This should make the final table more interesting. By our calculations the blinds will stop increasing around the final 5.

might be right or wrong, who knows. but glad sbr is taking steps to improve final table play

by my calcs, i think that still will only leave about 10 bb/player which isnt much. we will see how it works though.

I will try and play in this one. Saturday is a real bad day for me to play normally, but I might be able to get home in level 5 or so.

LOU, the changes are nice, but one more change would fix everything i think. Just have everyone start out with 5000 chips instead of 2500. That would only add around 15-20 minutes to the tournament

Why are poker points being paid for 10-20 when the 250 from 60 people covers the buy in pool. If SBR points are paid in full then shouldnt SBR points be paid out in full, since there is not overlay?

I guess I didnt read previous threads about the tourney.

But just would seem that if they are taking 250 per person and raking 25 then what is the need for poker points, there is already a rake of 25 points?

Lou - I know it says top 20 get paid, but looking at the "Info" on the actually tournament it's saying top 9.

Edit by SBR Lou: It's because top 9 get SBR Points. 10-20 get SBR Poker points (applied manually). We'll be making an upgrade soon so the prize can include multiple payment types automatically.

Looks like we're at level 10 after almost 90m. 11 players left. The blind change should allow some more play.

Probably a stupid question, but what's the difference between SBR points and poker points?

Poker points you need to rollover 3 times.
