Put a few bucks on myself. +EV? No. Way of making this contest a bit more interesting/fun? I thought so.

I'm sure your assumption is correct for the most part -- my little $50 wager at +6500 moved the line to +5000 within 10 minutes of the bet being accepted.

I need to analyze the contest better to get a better idea of my edge but I am certain that a bet on me at +12700 would have been +EV and will be in the future if this contest occurs again. Obviously, BetJam would never hang that kind of line or anything near it but the idea that this contest is a true coinflip is a bit of a misnomer IMO.

No, not really. Didn't have much of a strategy before and I'm not going to start now. I do have a couple games in the coming days that I'm certain will be plays, but I'm obviously not going to divulge that info.

I could have easily been knocked out in the first round, and I've had a few breaks in almost every match so far, so I've been pretty fortunate in that regard. This really isn't a contest where strategy means much (if anything at all), so I'm not going to spend much time worrying about that.

Got lucky last round. Lost my last 4 plays, and my opponent made a bonehead move taking Baltimore on the ML instead of taking the points. Will definitely need to perform better moving forward if I'm to win this thing.
