As for your amnesty argument, they also held on to elten brand. Clearly they have no intention to pay anybody in full while cutting them because they know nobody will sign there and they're not contenders.

Did you say Roy was amnestied? He retired

He's not an all star because he does 1 thing well. He can't shoot, he can't score, he can't close, he can't rebound at an all star level (see, tonight).

Are we putting Tony Allen in the all star game? No.

You said in your post he can do anything they ask and be a "star" and your insulting my intelligence? Please. They went down that road. He failed. Again and again and again. They are successful this year because they convinced him he's a ROLE player. I'm not sure why you don't see that.
No... I gave multiple example of why you are wrong.... and he started for them, LAST YEAR.

Dude, give it up - you're already to the "Oh noez - don't make personal attack on the interwebz" part of the discussion.

One more point, do you not remember that Kobe, wade, Lebron, etc all skipped 2010 USA basketball?

He obviously will not be playing signifanct minutes in the Olympics, if he makes the team.

Philly just offered Holiday and Iggy for Pierce and Rondo. Rivers was caught saying "this isn't a fair trade" "U have to match contracts" When informed Iggy gets what Pierce gets Rivers said they were only kidding Rondo isn't dick.

Iguodala is one of the most unique players ever. Consider: Only 12 other players in NBA history ever matched or exceeded Iguodala’s per-36-minutes averages of 14.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.5 steals (minimum 400 games played) through their age-29 season. The list is a murderer’s row of Hall of Famers, should-be Hall of Famers, and future Hall of Famers.

                              "Overrated" indeed.

I'll have to find it again. Was from a solid write-up about his free-agency. Written yesterday. Usually I include the site.

Here is the actual list referenced:
