I don't understand how Illinois can be such a big favorite here being how hot Iowa is and how awful Illinois has played all year.

Illinois hasn't beaten a team by 8 since Minnesota in OT nearly 2 months ago.

And it went to OT, so it was a fluke it got to 8 anyway. The only other team they've beaten by more than 8 in the last 3 months is Coppin State and that game was 59-57 pretty late.

Illinois is too bad of a basketball team to be laying 3 possessions to anyone in the country right now in my opinion.

Linemakers have been wrong on Illinois for the last 3 weeks. Maybe they catch up here but I doubt it. Expected Illinois to win Vs Purdue. Nope, expected a win at Nebraska, nope.

Illini have covered once in their last ten. Iowa surging. Only thing slightly scaring me is Iowar's poor road play, but Illinois has been pretty damn terrible. Over is also worth a look IMO. Illinois' defense has been shite of late and Iowa has had trouble stopping teams on the road all year.

Illini off to a fast start. They are a pretty desperate team and playing a little looser then I've seen them play in the past. Then again this game is still very young.
