When there are ten games per day, and the best play you can procure is Team X -200. Then you are a Rook.

If you lay -200 you have to hit 67% of your games just to break even.!! Everyone perceives risk differently for me the most I will lay is -150.

I'll take a -170 if the spot is right.

I actually try not to go over -160 personally, and I have been betting MLB successfully for a while.

Listen smartass, I pick my games without looking at lines. I look for winners rate the games and then decide based on lines. To be honest I kick ass at baseball and lose it all on basketball and football.

HoulihansTX , you've been repeating 'sharp talk' that you have read before and now taking it personal when called on it

if you do not think there CAN be more value in a -210 than in a -120 then you should HANG IT UP

It's always a good idea to look at the matchups and make your leans before even knowing the lines. That way your judgement isn't clouded by the lines. After deciding on leans then check the lines and adjust accordingly. That's how I do it anyway. Been successful with this strategy.

This is all of my own personal experience.

                              Juice kills, and losing happens

Picking games B4 the lines come out is a proper strategy. Actually to even have a chance you should be grading your own lines vs the actual lines.
