#37Nope. But I'm not a "professional" race car driver.Originally posted by TridentHave you ever tried to hold your line at around 180mph with cars crashing around you?
She dove down, and side swiped the 34, trying to avoid the wreck. If she held the line, and maybe went high, she might of avoided it. It's all bang/bang, and the spotter needs to help her as well.Comment -

#38You make it sound so easy going those speeds, cars crashing around you and you have a split second to make the right decision where to put your car, sounds easy to me.Originally posted by onlookerNope. I already stated it is bang/bang, but they learn to keep their line and listen to the spotter. They have to trust their spotter.Comment -

On a side note, I lived in Daytona for 4 years and always enjoy watching the 500 as it brings back some nice memories....Comment -

#43I laughed when I saw this since she had nothing to do with her getting caught up in another drivers wreck wreck but according to all the resident experts she should have avoided it going 180 mph, in a pack of cars and only a split second to react.Originally posted by RGGI laughed when I just saw this thread after seeing her wreck again tonight.Comment -

The intake has a restrictor plate on it to reduce the power and speeds of the cars.

Wrecks are avoidable. Especially as far back as she was following. Drivers do it all the time. But yes, this wasn't her fault but just reacted wrong and got caught up in the wreck.Comment -

I noticed that, but I couldn't edit title, so it had to stay.
Surprised it took you this long to comment.

#51I wish she was racing a full schedule. She is a solid fade investment. I would let her soak nude in a hottub full of Franklins at The Setai when the season ends at Homestead to celebrate her contribution to my bankroll.Comment -

#52The wreck was clearly avoidable, are you really arguing about that?
Obviously she didn't cause it but she certainly should have avoided it.Comment -
