Since 2000, only two winners - Steve Fisher (SD State 2010) and Phil Martelli (St.Joe's) did not come from a "power conference."
I think the top two prices are appropriate considering what the teams have accomplished. I was surprised that Izzo hasn't won the award before. I think if State wraps up the Big 10 and beats Ohio State again, he might get it.
Frank Haith is a close 2nd, but might get overlooked by a couple losses here late in the season.
I'd say Brey is a dark horse with some juice. That team has no so great talent, but he's turned them into a competitive team that handed Syracuse their only loss.
