There is a reason why I play the Reversi games. #1 I am good at them. #2 When I started the thread I wasn't aware of any programs that could beat me. Well... since then I have discovered a program in one of the games that can crush me. I don't mind though... that's my mistake and it was my intention to give away 500 points in that game anyway. With games like scrabble and chess and virtually every other game a person can use a computer program to help them win. I'd rather lose to a human.

Rudy... the best way to learn is to just play me. If I win.. you lose nothing. However... the experience you gain is invaluable.

while i dont mind talking shot of myself in terms of gambling, i try not to compete unless i have a fighting chance. reversi was a game that sat on my top shelf growing up while chess scrabble and risk was played nonstop.

it would be like going all in with j10 and thinking i had a great hand. give me a hint, do you start thinking ahead at the very first piece like checkers or tic tac toe where its almost beatable if i make 1 wrong move? or can i suck out like in poker????

Funny you should mention that because the last post I made in the thread is the best advice I can give. Here's the thread again http://forum.sbrforum.com/players-ta...br-points.html
