Wanted to get some early discussion on this game. Huge Big 12 matchup here with the winner likely winning the conference and grabbing a 1 seed in the tourney.
Missouri stole the first game from Kansas when they took over late. KU will be looking for some revenge and Mizzou is coming off an upset loss at home to Kansas State. I'm thinking the Jayhawks will be at least -4.5 here, maybe more. Gut is telling me to go with Kansas with the homecourt advantage. I don't really like that Missouri is coming off a loss though because of the bounceback situation. Still, I think Kansas at home and in a revenge game with so much on the line is the play -whatever. The opening line should give us an indication of where vegas stands on this game. Honestly it wouldn't shock me to see a Kansas -6 or -6.5 line here.
I've watched both teams play and it seems to me that Kansas has really taken their play to another level with the emergence of Withey. Based on what I have seen from Missouri, they have some really good guards and in the college game it is always huge to have guards who can penetrate AND shoot. Still, I will always take the team with the dominant frontcourt and that's exactly what Kansas has right now.
