talent wise anyway. locker room guy wise who really knows
Very good point here in this post...one thing you left out...who cares about winning anyway...obviously it's overrated...keep Anthony or any player who is naturally talented and quit sweating the small things like winning...

Carmelo was passive tonight. Knicks needed him tonight and he didn't step up. He could have taken any of those defenders that was on him to the hoop. Nets were playing Melo 1-on-1. Very disappointing.

the knicks have no choice but to make this work. let's find out what happens in atlanta. i expect knicks to get destroyed by miami, so atlanta is a must win to keep the melo-drama down.

Melo has always been considered one of the most overrated players in any sport. He stagnates the offense by holding onto the ball, and barely plays on defense. His offensive output is not efficient, he seldom creates for others, and takes too many difficult low % shots. I think George Karl's words were most telling the day Billups and Melo were traded, "We are definitely going to miss Chauncy." Karl recognized Melo was a selfish uneducated ego maniac with no work ethic.

I do not think anyone could say it better

Lin is 50x more valuable to a team than Melo just watch the games and see

You guys got stop paying attention to this Lin/Knicks garbage.
It's got you guys totally distracted.

Their are other teams and games with value-find them!

Did you know the Spurs have been like 10-1-1ATS L12
Little shit like that is getting past you because you're looking up into the ESPN lights or whatever it that's distracting you.

Break away and get focused guys.

I heard yesterday made exactley the 1/2 way mark through the NBA season.

It will be fun to monitor teams including, of course, the Knickerbockers!

What are you talking about, Carmelo was carrying the Knicks last year in the playoffs when Amare was injured and they had nobody. Melo, a loser? Melo, no heart?

He's one of the best scorers in the NBA and one of the most clutch shooters with the game on the line.

You're the same guy who said Derrick Rose sucks and would never be good.

These threads are so dumb. Give the guy more then a couple of games playing with Lin before you start putting him on the trading block. Knicks fans are all the same

I also think Knicks fans are some of the most low BBIQ fans in the league. They must get it from their terrible FO, who thinks busting the team up every 6 months to chase the next big trade or FA is a good idea.

InTheDrink......See what I mean? Give it some time before we see who's right

All I've ever said is IF Melo can settle in and put his pride aside (not gunna score 30 a game), I think the Knicks have a chance to be damn good

They are actually really deep now with everyone

I think people are too tough on Melo.....he's definitely not perfect but he's not a cancer or anything like that.....You still gotta remember he is one of the best pure scorers in the game

I disagree with your last point

he needs way too many shots to get his points...and it also sounds like the term "pure scorer" might be a backhanded compliment because he doesn't do much else? he's an okay rebounder....certainly doesnt do much else

Carmello-like his fellow Knickerbocker Amare (relax i said KNICKER-bocker)--doesn't share well and when Amare comes back they are going to see a hiccup... not to mention the fact that they will inevitable facing the heat which at 0 wins i three attempts this season-own them...
