Because idiots fill up 3 cars at once. It's called supply and demand. That's why.

man they have been talking about it all over town today, everyone is saying something different. it was just $3.89 earlier south of Louisville and anywhere from $4-4.20 in louisville and certain areas. one lady tried to say someone told her it was over $5 in E-Town, i said "ain't no way gas is over a dollar more just 30 miles south of louisville, gas is cheaper in the surrounding southern parts of louisville because they don't have the regulation to have to use the reformulated gas."

yeah kinda, it was loosely based around E-Town, alot was shot in Lexington and Louisville, it was a Cameron Crowe movie, i think that's his name, i think his dad was from Ky. and he wrote the script and based it in Ky. as a homage to his dad who passed away or something like that. i remember when they were shooting the local paper did some articles and interviews with the people from the film, it had that dude from the Lord of the Rings, had the long hair and carried a bow-and-arrows, and that Kirsten Dunst chick.
side note, my local paper had an article about the new 90210 show, apparently some chick who is a writer on the show used my old high school in the show, she wrote a scene where the kids were on the internet looking for pranks to pull on another high school and some dude says "here's one from Bullitt Central high school in Ky., they put Nair in the opposing football teams jockstraps."
I went to Bullitt Central but i didn't recognize the writers name, plus it didn't say how old she was, she could of been there before or after i was there. The paper said she was an alum of B.C. but didn't say when.

My brother in laws parents live in Tennessee. They said they were limiting people tonight to 10 gallons and it was $6 a gallon. No lie.

Not too bad in MN. When I went to work, nearby gas station was $3.459. Coming home I filled up at Costco for $3.399, the same nearby gas station was now $3.599. Have a feeling they will increase it more tomorrow using hurricane Ike as an excuse.

Screw that
Screw filling the tanks, ya'll should have bought some offshore drilling stock. Noble Corp (NE) made me a fortune today. Hurricane season is easy money for oil and lumber stocks.
