I am a computer programmer so I had to study and deal with numbers, calculations, formulas, etc. I have looked into sports betting ie. money lines, spreads, over/unders, and parlays. I see ML's and ATS as a losing effort in the long run and you need to be at least 60%, 6 out of 10 wins, to stay afloat. Playing the overs tend to be bettor than the unders, since the unders have a cap. And, 2-team parlays only need to 30%, 3 out of 10 wins to be profitable.

    Examples:
    Moneylines unpredictable do to variances.

    ATS & O/U's most times -110/+110 with that a 6-4-0 record pays +160.

    2-team parlays payout x2.6 most times, only needs at least a 3-7-0 record for payout +80. And, a 4-6-0 payout: + 440! And, a 6-4-0 payout at: +1160!

Sorry, this really doesn't pertain to this thread. I would post this in Players Talk, personally. BTW, 60% against the spread is unrealistic and you are going to need to be a lot more precise with your numbers as edges are generally not huge against the spread.
