Lin, Tebow, Barkley (yes, that's Charles Barkley), both Mannings, the guy from Blazers that just retired, Rose, Durant, Dirk, Wade (kinda, but I can see him playing dirty), Roy Halladay.....

they seem like genuine good people, just to name a few, I'm sure there's more, I just can't recall right now.

I'm even going to add Lebron (but he's cocky).

No one with an ego as big as Lebron can be a genuinely good person. And Wade seems shady to me. Always has. Maybe it's because he flopped a championship away from the Mavs. I dunno.

I know it was a while ago and you are probably too young to remember but in 97 Mr. Barkley threw some guy through a plate glass window, I am not sure why. I think the guy was gay and hit on him or something like that. I am not sure he should be on this list, that does not sound like a very nice guy to me.

I'd rather be a punk and win than be a nice guy and lose.
You don't win nothing being a nice guy.
You think MJ is a nice guy on the court? Hell no.

How about being a nice guy and win instead of being punk and lose.Short term it may look cool to be punk, but long term and when you grow up(mentally) you will see that you have acted ridiculous and people always remember what have you done and how have you acted.

I have enormous respect for Steve Nash that I have for no other player and it is not only because he is great player but because he is humble hard working guy who will always have your back.A guy that is grown man and not spoiled thug who thinks that because he can dribble a ball the whole world is in his feet.

Everything you do on and off the court is being followed by the youngsters. Those guys are examples.
