I'd give anyone 5 to 1 odds if they (Knicks) are a 7 or 8 seed,they won't make it out of the first round. 2 to 1 odds if they're 3-6. They're best shot of a 2nd round is not play the Bulls or Heat in the first round (I know.. way to state the obvious)

How do you think his development and the team chemistry would've been had he started at PG at the beginning of the season? Do you think Melo would've listened to a word he said? I'm asking legit questions, and I had to state that because I wanted my next statement seen as a separate topic. Do you think Melo would've listened to a word, cooperated or done anything team-oriented if Lin was just a twice-cut rookie and not this big star?

the knicks can play defense i guess no one noticed what happened to toronto when they put shumpert on calderon? i am a die hard knick fan but these last few games they have gutted the games out that last year they would have lost. twolves and toronto games are good examples. this team with lin seems to have some solid chemistry going on. how long will it last idk? but if it persists they can beat any team in the east. myself personally no one beats okl city. some teams just have it and im starting to believe that this knicks teams is one of them.

Wade is going to rape Lin, Lebron will dominate Melo and Joel Anthony will bully Amare. Anthony cant guard big guys but he can shut down the shooting forwards.

Lin will obviously not guard wade. Lebron will obviously not dominate melo.

Look at the head to head numbers when melo and lebron face each other. There very similar and melo outplayed him the only meeting with the knicks. Lebron is not even close to a lockdown defender like he gets credit for, jason terry tore him apart in the finals. All anybody looks at is how he played rose, forgetting terry shredded him the very next series.

Like i said, melo and lebron will play each other even.

And Lebron can't guard Anthony either. Anthony has went toe to toe with Lebron every time when was in Cleveland. If 37 year old Jason Kidd had his way against Wade in the Finals, Lin can possibly do the same

JR Smith very overrated pickup. The guy is a knucklehead. A polar opposite of Jeremy Lin. Lin has 1/2 the athleticism of an NBA Player, and 2x the IQ. JR Smith has 2x the athleticism, and 1/2 the IQ. I think he will actually hinder NY more then help.

This is almost as bad as the "D Rose will never be a good player" thread. Lin makes NY better but dont forget they have won vs D league teams and have had to come back in most. You should never lose to NO at home.

The bulls are killing teams without Rose; this could be huge comming playoff time. Everyone last year during playoffs would get the ball and look to pass it to Rose; Rose not playing they have to be aggressive and are building confidence; if they can take that mind set into the playoffs they will be scary.

I hope NY gets 7th seed and plays Miami

are the knicks going to try and change it to where they get to play with two basketballs because one is not going to be enough? this will also allow them to not worrying about playing defense as much with melo and jr smith in the line up.

Knicks are crazy deep all of a sudden.....Lin, Fields, Shump, JR Smith, Melo, Douglas, Novak, Chandler, Jeffries, Amare are all guys that can help the team in different ways......they will be a force

Also get back Baron Davis and I've seen Bill Walker do some nice things here and there which I forgot

If D'Antoni can play this right, the Knicks will be fresh enough to make a run when everyone else is dealing with fatigue down the stretch
