Has been nothing but a bit player in NBA. I am so shocked and surprised at this. I expected a great playing career from the guy, he always gets the big contracts, but the production is pathetic.

intangible player but overpriced. Player has an exceptionally good attitude and that help's other players like Lin. Comes up with some timely plays but not a stats guy. He's grown on me

So Jeffries had a high ceiling but is actually just another guy with intangibles and a great attitude? Never would have applied those qualities to him.

I watch the Knicks all the time.....Jeffries is a great team player and does all the little things well.......Every now and then he will show his talents but it's rare.....Overall the type of role player you want on your team to be used as a big man off the bench

How was he a monster in college?

                      He was nothing special.

He is an elite ball handler, passer and defender for his position but cannot shoot or score, also is old started many games for the Wizards

There are scores of players who were great in college and either fail or become bit players in the NBA. Nothing new or novel about it or special with Jeffries. And it's not like he was a #1 pick. He was an #11.

Lots of hype and left early if I remember correctly.

like I said, he's an intangibles player. You can't see that on the stat sheet

Jared Jeffries was pretty good in college the two years he was there. The honors say it all.

Named Big Ten Freshman of the Year in 2001. Named to the All-Big Ten 2nd Team. Named Big Ten MVP and 2nd Team All-America by AP in 2002. Named to the All-Big Ten 1st Team.
