Odds are way off. Hard to argue against rumors of bundling Chandler and Melo for Howard. How could Magic do better? NYC loves big men. Howard dreams of big lights and partying with Yankees in off season. Dwight would jump, Magic would be listening if they could work out some minor pieces added/exchanged to make the payroll work.
Knicks know they can't win with Stoudemire and Anthony. Stoudemire and Howard? Lin has a long way to go, but lifts team energy level. Introduce Howard to the Garden and you would see that place explode. Don't think the money-men aren't playing these scenarios out, as they watch the stock, MSG cable, ticket sales, interest grow in huge mkts (China). NYC is a major money multiplier. Just ask those boys that run the Yankees.

This is the dumbest thread I've seen in awhile. The knicks are not discussing any option of trading melo with any team. Thats just stupid. It's gonna be Lin, Melo, and Amare leading the front line. If for some reason and of rare scenario Melo comes back and the Knicks just can't win and missed the playoffs then I'm sure there would be speculation in the offseason to try and dump him, however that is of the most far fetched outcomes. The knicks are destined for a 4th or 5th seed and from there I see them making a good run in the playoffs. Don't also forget that Baron Davis is looming in the balance to come back sometime soon and when that happens your looking at having one hell of a bench pg. It took this team a decade to find some balance and its finally here. They are preparing themselves to do big things.Comment -
