Every line including a yankees or knicks game is already including -value because of the market they will play in, and the money that will be bet on the home side, has nothing to do with th eline or th egame, it is just about the homer betting happening to be the wealthiest bettors in the country,

There is no linmania factored into the lines. Knick have however covered 8 in a row and 10 of the last 12. Since 'linmania' has hit they have been a dog 3 straight times, even a dog at Washington. They won SU so obviously covered.

Knicks line movements arent nearly as pronounced as laker line moves where books still put up bad lines and people still bet the lakers.

Books want balanced action, period. people that think books blatantly gamble are just dumb.

you dont need to gambe, when 50% of the action on a knicks game across the US is coming out of NYC!!!

and that washington game was the epitome of the bookmakers under valuing Lins impact on the team. that will not happen anymore.

knicks lines have been wrong all year. it is not a coincidence that the knicks lost multiple games as 6-7 point favs. they ar ealways overvalued, until they lost their stras, thats why Linn was an ATM, the casual (with million dollar bonuses) NYC bettor laid off th eknicks without the stars.

bet on the knicks until melo and amare comes back then it'll all go downhill from there... the real reason why the players are actually playing hard isn't because of linsanity but they feel like they are actually contributing to the team rather than just being a spectator to those two ball hogs.

No they were dogs in Wash because at the time they were 10-15 SU and 4-8 SU on the road.

As for the line, it was all over the place, it opened Wash -2, but got all the way up to Knicks -2 before everyone buried the Wizards again to get them t0 -2.5 then some late Knicks money came back in to get it to close at -1.5 Wash.

ML ws even mor tlling opened -105/-105 at Pinnacle, Wash took all the money for most of the day getting to -135/122, then they closed Wash -117/106

Also Knick have only been a fav of more than 5 points once, -7 to Charlotte, they won 92-75. Knicks have only been a fav 6 times total 4-2 SU and 3-3 ATS. So I dont see how they have been over or under rated.

Theyve ben dogs 22 times, theyre 2-20 SU those two wins did come with Lin playing but probably more coincidence than anything. So Knicks are losing the games theyre 'supposed' to lose. The 6-16 ATS record shows they are losing by a bit more than books thought they would however.

This is a simple case of right place right time. Knicks have been playing really bad teams and they have been home in 3 of 5. They played Chi and Bos tough as well. He didnt play against Chi and was anon factor against Bos. So it is an optical illusion more than anything else.

Thing is theyr schedule is extremely easy going forward, so that will simply help the juggernaut grow and grow.

But if they beat Dallas, Atl (both at home) and Mia on the road, then you might be able to get excited. But beating up on the Lakers, and NJ is nothing special. Nor should beating Sac, NO, and NJ (again).

yes good advice, just thinking that Linmania already rolling + the return of carmelo and amare + a long homestand coming up might inflate the lines too high, but we'll see

yeah knicks -3 vs toronto tomorrow seems decent, although toronto has been good lately, on an upswing
