Today was their shot at making tourney

They have some talent but are not fundamentally sound, turn the ball over, take bad shots, etc.

Illini usually have a ton of physical talent, but no leadership from the coaching staff or players. Don't know how to play as a team, going back until at least the Williams and Luther Head era

I don't bet them anymore. They are a hard team to watch. Without manascalco they are a different team. So many other teams to follow, **** the illini.
