I think another play should be awarded. I don't think a penalty nor a push would be the fair decision.

Just make a pick and the official ruling will come whenever crazyl's around. Can't hurt to make another pick, and you certainly should receive a final play.

If the play happened to be made mid-contest, it would have been graded a no-play and he would have had to pick another game. There's no reason it should be different just because it happened to be on the last day of the round. He should be awarded another pick.

It would suck to get eliminated from a rain out. This type of stuff can discourage other folks from joing this contests. Do the right thing SBR.

Round 3 doesn't start until Wednesday. I don't see any reason why you shouldn't be granted a final play.

Think about it from his opponents point of view. What we've been doing throughout the tournament is giving no action on all postponed games. Wouldn't it be wrong to give him a push here or award an extra play just because it would benefit him? It's not only about making one person happy, because I would really like to please everyone, but just going by the established precedent we had so far.

If you start bending the rules, there's no limit to where it stops. There was ample time after he made his seventh pick for him to select another one or message myself or Diogee and ask about how we grade postponed games, it's been no secret they are always no action.

Im calling bullshit. One of the main reasons is you have already bent the rules. One specific example off the top of my head was allowing GM couple to both play in the same tourney when the rules stated " only one entry per household".

Give the man his play and let him have some fun for christ sakes.

its on me to look in other ppls contest picks to see what happens with rain outs? no. if its not in the rules i dont know.

last week there was controversy

about correlated plays they were given xtra day to make pick.

it's ok.

All I can say is it might not be the best strategy to wait until the last possible day to enter 6/7 of your picks, just in case any gray area to you might arise. I'm sorry that the grading procedure wasn't clearer, I've clarified a clause that touches on this specific scenario of "last day picks" so in the future this problem doesn't reoccur. It's just not fair to your opponent to apply that retroactively here.
