I bet that "vibe" has never been there to the extent it was tonight over someone who's caught that city on fire, who was a relative unknown to most people, and in such a short time span. The cool thing about it is, in my opinion, was that there was no anticipation for what is happening. It's not like you are seeing a #1 draft pick play his first 4 full games right? I think it's good for sports in general to see something that wasn't predicted or at least expected happening in a day in age where there seems to be predictive, anticipatory eyes on anyone/anything with any potential. A real surprise is a nice treat I think. I used to live in NYC and would have loved to have been there tonight.
