Hi Jeff,

The free half point has been removed , for accounts with pending rollovers everything stays the same just now the wagers need to be placed during those 2 hours a day.

I am also giving clients the choice to choose between 107 juice instead of the free half point. I will look into perhaps extending the free half point schedule an extra hour for the clients that still have rollovers to complete. Most of the volume comes in at the time frame I provided.

I apologize for the hassle , as everyone knows we do our best to be fair to players and removing the promotion all together did not seem like the best way to go.

The free half point will be back for NFL and NCAAF.

games start at 400 pst not 300 pst. at the very least that would be appreciated. but i really dont think anyone with a rollover should be limited. we deposited into a promotion and then a week later you change the rules. not cool

Sounds like the free halfpoint is being offset real sly like so your edge is null.

Players can still use the half-point a couple hours per day, or choose -107 juice instead. If a bettor's edge is "null" with reduced juice, all the half-points in the world may not help. =)

Hi Jeff,
Books change limits, withdrawal costs, and wagering menus often, especially from season to season. The only thing you can expect with a good book is the existing bonus offer doesn't get changed. That said, good books work with players when they change offerings. My guess is you wont be in a situation you feel is unfair.

The sharps are hitting betisland hard and basically going to ruin it for the other players

There are some real shrewd guys here that know how to expose bonuses and free 1/2 points

i understand the business nature of the issue.

I am now quite pleased that jon offered me -107. now i can bet when i want and still have a great promo feature.

this would be ok if betislands posted the lines earlier.. but cbb totals dont get posted till wait late in day.. jon can u change this also to accommodate man?

for the record I always recommend betislands and am always extremely impressed with the customer service there.

I agree changing the rules in the middle of the game is just bs. However if we can switch to -107 midway it's all good !!

Changing a promotion sucks, but of course it can't be avoided if its killing a business.

Betislands no longer offering free half point for NCAA games

NBA games will still have the free half point (from 1-3 PST) Just to give possible new customers a heads up
