Why Did Fed Win?? I Will Tell You Why
He played like the old Fed because of one reason and one reason only, Nadal was not on the other side of the net. Fed is so intimidated by this guy it is not even funny and he chokes and does not play his game. I watched Fed tonight and he was so relaxed like last year and relieved that Nadal was out..

yes, nadal has fed's number h2h on clay and now on grass (but fed beat nadal prior 2 wimbledons) but they have never met on a hardcourt grand slam (never at us open or aussie open) so until they do, we don't know what would happen on either of these 2 hardcourts

what we do know is that fed has now won 5 us open's in a row,

he owns NEW YORK CITY tennis-wise

you think fed choked at wimbledon 06 and 07 when he beat rafa?

did he choke 2 mos ago in one of the best, if not the best tennis match ever?

fed did not lose wimbledon, rafa won it

that was one of the most competitive individual sporting events EVER

      no choke job, Coach

Fed never would of been this relaxed against Nadal and pounding the ball like he did, not saying he would of not won but it would of been very hard to win.

Lendl hated playing Johnny Mac and Jimmy Connors and Boris Becker because they were killers on the court like Nadal.

Playing Nadal is hard and makes you press especially for a low key guy like Fed, I will admit it was a great win for him today.

Coach, i certainly believe rafa would've played fed toe to toe, but remember, he has never won a hard court slam so i think fed wouldve been favored and i know i wouldve bet on him as small chalk

i think fed > nadal on a grand slam hard court

the us open courts play very very fast, which is why murray wiped the court with nadal, and also why nadal had not reached past a quarterfinal at flushing til this yr

on to shanghai china in november for masters
