Pitt is the same team earlier in the year, they just played a little above their rating at home a few games, doesnt mean they are better than they were, South Florida plays tough at home and teams find its very hard to win there.

One of Pitt's best players was out for a while and South FLA has not had any quality wins at home from the Big East top tier. Pitt on a 4 game win streak trying to keep the momemtum to get to the big Dance. Was it really that square a play?

USF did beat Cleveland St. at home and only lost one game at home to UCONN by 3, they arnt slouches there.

Well if you want to go down that road I can point out Pitt's loss to WAGNER at HOME. Also lost to LB ST at home, lost to DePaul, Rutgers, Cincinnati.... Notable USF Home Wins: Beat Cleveland st by 15, beat Seton Hall, beat St. John's, beat Rutgers (lost to UCONN by 3) I mean you guys are acting like Pitt is a world beater.

They can only beat who their scheduled to play, but a better question is name one quality team Pitt has beat on the road, you might say W.V. and South Florida has a better conference record than W.V., who are night and day.

That's a good point. But my reasoning for taking Pitt on the money line was because they had an 8 game losing streak(some of the games without their best player) followed by a 4 game win streak. I played the fact they had some momentum. I just do not agree with the opinion that it was a square play. But each to his own.

And I dont think that was really bad reasoning, you felt you had an angle and went with it, thats what youre supposed to do, its not bad reasoning. I didnt say it was a square play.

When 90% of the pub is on a team and 98% is on the ML and the line holds at 3 all day, its a square play.
