"SAMBO BEAT THE BITCH" -Sarah Palin's Take on the Obama-Clinton Primaries

Some of the information cited in the article, like the lead statement, is hearsay and would be diffiucult to prove, lacking the waitress or other witnesses coming forward.

Other stuff, like Palin trying to get the local library to ban some books, seems eminently verifiable.

In any case, enough here for enterprising journalists to go after in more detail.

Some folks think that Sarah Palin bears a strong resemblance to Xena, the Warrior Princess. (Lucy Lawless, I think)

    Anyone else see that?

Also, she doesn't believe in dinosaurs.

150 years ago she would have owned slaves.

Nope. Just more examples of Palin Derangement Syndrome.

List catalogs books banned from the Wasilla, Alaska, public library by Mayor Sarah Palin?

Isn't she the running mate of one? Dinosaur that is.

Right. I said it was "verifiable." Not that it was factual. Does seem, tho, like Mayor Palin may have contimplated such action.

The fact that the McCain campaign is hiding the lady from the press indicates that they are worried about cracks in the "maverick" moose hunter image. (No bad jokes about "cracks", gents)

Journalists do have a responsibility to investigate the stories to see if they are verifiable.

It is true, it seems, that quite recently a rep from the Jews for Jesus group visited Sarah's church, to deliver a speech (which her pastor seemed to agree with) that Jews in Israel are targets of terror attacks because they reject Christ.

That fits in with the dispensationalist dogma of the "Left Behind" crowd. (The best-selling series of novels about the coming of JC and the Rapture that the Chosen, like Mrs Palin, will enjoy, while the rest of cavort painfully with Ol' Nick for eternity in that hot spot.)

It is fair to shine the same kind of light on Palin's assoication with her pastor that Obama had shone on his with the Rev Wright.
