just think about the people about to win tourneys or almost final table, this is not fair at all.

I was 1st place in a 5 buck tourney but big field

and 4th in a private roll with 14 left and we are at the table all talking and nobody has seen any popup saying cancelled or suspended

I was chip leader in the 10K when play was suspended. I got paid a measly $66.66, like everyone else who was alive in the tournament. Unreal.

Paid $25 + a fee of $2.50 (I think). Obviously not a good return for someone who was chip leader and the tournament winner was going to clear $2K.

They didn't refund the entry fees for the blackjack tournament, which started at 10:40, as the site was going down.

they didn't refund it last night, but today they finally sent an e-mail that the tournament was canceled and that if I wanted the money back I'd have to get in touch with them and request it

Feel bad for the players that don't go there and request it.

They're playing the tournament on Thursday night.

This whole situation was such utter bullshit with the way it was handled by Bookmaker. I invest hours into a $10K poker tournament, am chip leader (never been a chip leader before) when their site goes down. I anxiously sit at my computer for the site to come back up and for the tournament to resume. When it does come back up, they decided to let the tournament resume for about 10 minutes, in which I increased my chip stack and then they decided to suspend the tournament and basically give everyone their money back that was not eliminated. Everyone, regardless of chip stack, received the same amount. When I called that evening to complain, I was assured not to worry, the results are not final and will be changed during the night to reflect higher winnings for the higher chip stacks at the point of the suspension. Of course, that didn't happen and when I called yesterday, I was told that the original decision stands. They make a mistake and I get the crap end of the stick. If my computer failed as opposed to their network, do you think I would have been refunded? Ha. No chance. Total double standard and crappy treatment of their players.
