Chicago Bears +425 - THAT was easy money!

I searched the forum for anyone that posted a play on this:
Chicago Bears +425 M/L and I found none.

I guess everyone thought Indy just had to be on the field and that would be enough for the easy cover.

I saw enough "Indy Sucks" comments during and after the game. This one was all Chicago, how come no one here though of taking the Bears?

I never would have thought of betting on the Chicago Bears - I'm a hockey handicapper first and foremost, I was asking why no one else here selected it, because there are so many knowledgeable and self-proclaimed "sharp" NFL handicappers here.

I merely watched this game and enjoyed Chicagos fine performance on the field, it was a very entertaining game to watch.

Never dreamed the Bears would win (until after watching the 1st half), when Colts got the ball back down 2 in the 3rd qtr I was sure they were going to comeback but then the fumble for defensive TD killed the drive. Hard to predict things like that, Colts played terribly and made some key mistakes, that's why they call it gambling.

any body that knows ball,didnt think the bears would beat the colts.maybe the spread.i dont know.i hate it win pe ople brag after a game is played.bush league.

I cannot argue with the points you make, gambling can be very humbling, I know from my own experience, that is why I loathe those that post "lock" in the title of their thread, almost anything can happen in a game.

I think those that were touting Indy as a sure thing have learned a lesson.

No, it said exactly what I wanted it to say, I was merely asking how such a big price was missed by so many here at SBR. The last line clearly shows this.

Sometimes written word doesn't translate sarcasm or wit the way it was intended, I never meant it to seem like I had picked the Bears, I don't know enough about NFL to make any selection with confidence, I do like action and will tail someone that is hot with their picks though.

No college football anymore for me though, fukkin college kids have not treated me well, especially with dumb penalties at crucial moments that affected covering the number.

I'll stick to something I follow and know a bit about, NHL.

I didn't touch this game because others looked more attractive to me. Manning was coming back from an injury and they have a different center playing. I wanted to see how the Colts would gel before risking money on them.

As far as easy money. There is no such thing. I researched the crap out of my first week plays. People on this site talked me out of the Chargers over the Panthers. In the end I took the Pats, the Eagles, and the Cowboys in a 10 point teaser. I won but this was a heart attack waiting to happen. The Pats pulled it out, but I was crapping my pants the whole way.

The Bears earned my respect last night. I'm not going to play them against the Panthers next week, but they have made it off my turd list. That list thinned out a bit this week. The Falcons impressed me. Everybody thought they would lose. Next week will be a real test for them against the Buccs. I'm not ready to risk money on them but I have my eye on them. Panthers did well against the Chargers. I'll continue picking on the Dolphins and the Rams for now, but if they start getting their crap together I'll pull out and wait until next season. I pick on the dogs. It's made me a decent chunk of change, but I would not call it "easy".
