What is the limit that you can bet on a single game in vegas?

It depends on the book, the sport, and whether it's a side, total, or prop. Some books will accept wagers above the posted max at times too...

Most of the books here have posted $5k limit for NBA sides. However, if you're laying a big number on the ML, you aren't recognized as a sharp, or they want to lay off some action they usually have no problem taking larger wagers. You also have the option of spreading max wagers at several different books...

I should say that applies to some of the bigger books here, like Hilton, Caesars, Stations, and MGM/Mirage. You won't find that at a place like Arizona Charlie's obviously...
