I'll take my chances with the Pats even without Brady sir.

I don't like the Pats guys. Just imagine how many complex defensive schemes and looks Mangini will run, he'll throw the book at Cassell just to confuse him every step of the way.

Pats have NO chance without Bradey for a whole game when the other team knows it..i.e. see their pre season

Can't use the preseason to judge. Starters don't play the entire game, not giving their all.

Patriots will be lucky to win 6 games this season. There defense and running game is nothing special, and without brady wes welker will go back to being an ordinary receiver.

Patriots without Brady are very questionable. Hell KC almost beat them and they suck!
On Jets -3!!!!!

I would hold off betting this line until you know what is going to happen.

unload on this game, no way Pats are winning two in a row without Brady. Jets are 10x better than KC.

The Jets were insanely lucky to beat the Dolphins... Anyone who watched that game knows it...
Also, Casell will be much better next week now that he can practice with the first team and actually PREPARE for the game...
You would be a moron to "unload" on a game like this, let alone ANY game...

Brett Favre or Matt Cassell? Not a tough choice.

Any QB with Randy Moss as a weapon is automatically a pro bowl QB. (ie, Daunte Culpepper)

Haven't touched this game. Maybe leave it alone and just watch it. Have a feeling the Pats will be ready. Being an underdog will have them fired up.

I think public money floods in on the Pats. I'd hold off if you plan on taking the Jets side.

Not necessarily.
Kerry Collins, Aaron Brooks and Andrew Walters did not make the Pro Bowl.

What about the 42+ other players that will be involved in the game?
Pennington had a decent game against the Jets so I don't see why Cassell couldn't with the likes of Moss/Welker vs Fassano/Martin.
I'm also not sold on the Jets run D yet either. I think the Pats will pound it at them with Moss and Welker doing their damage as well.
Either way you look at it though the Patriots make for a great teaser pick at that current line.

Pats will be jacked up for this game. When was the last time they were an underdog? (maybe a game at Indy within the last couple years)

The Pats had one of the best ground games in the NFL last year. They still have Moss and Welker. The offense is no longer All-World without Brady but I see no reason it can't still be pretty good. I'd assume the Jets will come out, load the box, and make Cassel prove his worth but a jump ball or two to Moss should put a stop to that.
