this actually is a good opportunity imo to take the knicks. against utah it is actually better believe it or not to not have Amare in the game. Utah is stacked on the front line and thats where id say more than half their points come...Jeffries will get the start which is a major upgrade in defense. so Chandler will be on Al Jeffries. JJ on Millsap. this will also free up Carmelo..expect him to have a big game and carry them on his back and get the W for Amare.

Sad for Amare. Knicks may have saved their season though, if Lin works out for them.

Lin is not good. I watched him play a ton for the Warriors.

Lin is Knicks best option at point this year. He is solid. I've watched him play plenty too, and he's performed solidly. It is the Warriors that were not good and still is not good.

been watching him since his freshman yr at harvard. he wasn't ready to play backup pg in golden state, he wasnt even a real pg at harvard. he actually still isnt a true blue pg, and there will be some adjustment. right now im hoping for a solid backup/platoon career for him, but with any luck, cause he is smart and works hard, he can fine tune the jumper and learn the position more and actually play it well. still a little ways off, but i wouldnt use his time in gs last yr as a barometer. he was an all-everything guard at harvard, so it was going to be different for him at first in the nba

The Knicks are a bunch of bums this year. Rarely worth a play - replacing Amar'e doesn't make the NYK better. If Melo was out, then there would be a point - as that guy is the cancer of the NYK.
Anyone thinking the Knicks are better without Amar'e tonight, are probably capping this game thinking the Knicks are fresh after the parties being held in their city the last 24 hrs.
