Yahoo Sports' Michael Silver says Tom Brady is expected to miss the rest of the season with ligament damage in his knee.
Two sources tell Silver that Brady has a "severe" knee injury that "could" include a torn ACL and perhaps other ligament and cartilage damage. "It’s bad," a team source said told Silver. "We’re going to have to play without him." Silver is one of the best NFL reporters alive, and you have to trust him here. Fantasy owners should not make a move with Brady until it's confirmed elsewhere though. Obviously, it's devastating news for the entire Patriots offense.

Doesnt matter
He looked very average in the last super bowl, its a different game if you cant cheat
It's funny cause he couldn't even play worth a crap while with USC. Once relieved Leinart and got pulled after throwing 2 INTs and a fumble. USC was leading by like 7 TDs at the time.

Hmmm...might see a Daunte Culpepper siting in New England.

brad johnson backed up casey weldon about 17 yrs ago at FSU, and then brad won a SB and weldon couldnt keep an NFL job!
now leinart is on the bench and cassell is the starter in new eng, but its obviously not by earning the job
cassell was perennial back up at usc and yes, performed poorly in relief of carson palmer in 02 and matt leinart thereafter

Listen here you parents basement dwelling losers...With or without Brady, the Pats are still the class of the NFL. Ya 16-0 regular season after they got busted...They must have been cheating the whole time. Give it a rest, they are the best team of the 2000's, and will be fine if Brady is out a few weeks
